PLACE Studio’s residential apartment project at 6–10 Southview Street, Bulli, delivered on behalf of Homes NSW for social housing, provides a considered coastal housing outcome that responds to its surrounding low density context while achieving strong planning and amenity performance. The design is informed by detailed site analysis, including solar orientation, prevailing coastal winds and existing neighbourhood character, resulting in highly liveable apartments with excellent natural light, cross ventilation and outlook. Generous communal open space and landscaped areas are integrated to support resident wellbeing and reinforce the site’s connection to its coastal setting, demonstrating a balanced approach to density, compliance and design quality while contributing to the delivery of high quality social and affordable housing.
