Place Studio

Place Studio, in collaboration with Videri, has designed a purpose built 10 bedroom group home in Forestville, tailored for residents living with dementia. The two-storey residence is carefully planned to balance clinical care requirements with a warm, domestic environment, incorporating private ensuite bedrooms, generous communal living and dining areas, and clearly defined circulation to support intuitive wayfinding and passive supervision.
The architectural expression adopts a refined Hamptons aesthetic, with articulated façades, soft material palettes and strong connections to landscaped outdoor spaces. This approach reinforces a familiar residential character, creating a calm and supportive setting that enhances resident wellbeing while integrating seamlessly into the surrounding suburban context.
