Place Studio

Place Studio, in collaboration with Aura at Home, has designed a third group home project that continues the delivery of high quality SDA housing for residents with high physical support needs. Located in Matraville, the development builds upon previous group home models, incorporating fully compliant accessible planning, generous circulation spaces and integrated care focused layouts to support both independence and assisted living .
This project introduces a modern industrial architectural language, characterised by robust material selections, clean lines and a more contemporary façade expression. Internally, the dwelling maintains a highly functional layout with accessible bedrooms, ensuites and shared living areas that promote ease of movement, supervision and comfort. The result is a durable, design led environment that balances clinical performance with a refined residential character tailored to residents’ needs.
