Place Studio

Place Studio delivered the architectural design and CDC documentation for a Class 3 SDA Group Home at 8 Alma Place, Rooty Hill, purpose designed for residents with High Physical Support needs. The project includes a fully coordinated drawing package with detailed plans, sections, elevations and specialist wet area and kitchen layouts, demonstrating compliance with SDA and NCC requirements . The design incorporates step free access, generous circulation spaces, compliant door clearances and turning zones, along with provision for ceiling hoists, emergency power and integrated assistive technology. The outcome is a highly functional, accessible and carefully considered residential environment that supports independence, care delivery and quality of life for residents.
