Tate & Lyle is a men’s barbershop located in the centre of Sydney’s CBD, designed to reinterpret the character of a traditional British gentleman’s club within a contemporary grooming environment. Drawing on the owner’s heritage, the interior combines classic references with a restrained, modern material palette.

Timber chevron flooring, marble benchtops, green tiled surfaces and brass detailing establish a layered material language that balances tradition with refinement. Paired with traditional barber chairs in tan leather, the space creates a warm and considered atmosphere that reflects both the ritual and craft of the barbering experience.
