Place Studio

The Abey Sydney showroom was conceived as a flagship destination for the company’s kitchen, bathroom and laundry brands, located within the design precinct of Danks Street in Waterloo. Working closely with Abey & The Interior Standard, Place Studio collaborated on the design of the 365sqm multi level showroom incorporating display areas, consultation spaces, offices and a boardroom, creating a setting that supports both professional clients and design focused consumers.

The interior is organised around a light filled double height space framed by a north facing glass façade, allowing daylight to shape the experience of the showroom. Product and brand zones are defined through material changes and refined detailing, enabling visitors to move intuitively through the space while exploring Abey’s international product portfolio. The planning prioritises clarity, daylight and generous circulation to support a considered and immersive product selection experience.
